On the occasion of the International Women’s Week, next Friday, March 15, the Power of Gender Awards Dinner will be held in Marbella. At 9:00 pm, the gala will begin at the prestigious Hotel Los Monteros, an event organized by the Cool Protocol Events Agency in collaboration with the Women’s Development Institute (AMIA), to which a large part of the benefits of the tickets.
The event will consist in the delivery of 12 prizes to 12 women who start up innovative and human projects, which are making progress in different work areas. Women that people do not have as references because they do not have great repercussion, however, are women who increase the business fabric in our country. Therefore, this act seeks the union between visible and invisible women leaders, where recognized people of the business world and television give support and visibility to women with little media recognition.
In the same way, we have the collaboration of the Institute for the Development of Women (AMIA), which is an association of women who carry out projects with the aim of fighting for equality, the defense of freedoms, the rights and the interests of women in all areas; social, cultural, labor, family and political, as reflected in its statutes.
The event wants to recognize those women who struggle with breaking the glass ceiling that prevents them from becoming a Board Member, Counselor and President. Therefore, it is sought to distinguish women who have managed to reach these levels thanks to the creation of new projects that are included within the values of Equality.
Poder de Género is an initiative of Cool Protocol Events, which together with the support of Marbella City Council, seek to talk about such important issues at the present time, such as equal opportunities in management positions and wage equalization in various labor sectors. In addition, the gala will be the prelude to the 1st International Gender Power Congress 2020, a meeting point and debate that will address various issues that have as protagonists women who are leaders in their sectors.
