Informative talk on the consequences of Brexit, which will apply from 31st October, will be held at Marbella Congress and Exhibition Center on November 12, 5 pm. The entrance is free.

Ricardo Bocanegra
Bocanegra is a Law graduate in the field of Public Law (Universidad de Sevilla) and an Administrative Manager.
Specialising in foreign issues, he is a lecturer and author of numerous articles in his field. He has participated in many forums and round tables aimed at foreign investors and he is an advocate of residential tourism, which he considers fundamental for the economies of the Costa del Sol and the entire province of Málaga.
In April 1982, he founded Gestoría Bocanegra. From the start, it specialised in issues surrounding foreigners and, in record time, it became the most important agency in Andalucía taking care of foreign nationals.
Ricardo Bocanegra has always been at the forefront of defending foreign nationals’ interests, as he is conscious of the fundamental importance of residential tourism for Málaga’s economy.
To further support foreign residents, Bocanegra founded the Federation of Associations of Foreign Nationals in the Costa del Sol (Federación de Asociaciones de Extranjeros de la Costa del Sol – FAECOSOL) in 1993. As president of FAECOSOL he made many advances that benefited foreigners in the region.

Charmaine Arbouin
Charmaine Arbouin has been British Consul for Andalucia, the Canaries, Ceuta and Melilla, for the past six years. The consulates that cover southern Spain are some of the busiest in the world with a significant population of UK nationals and millions of British tourists each year.
She has more than 20 years’ experience of managing people and resources in the public and not-for-profit sectors, She was a consultant to local and central government organisations in the UK, specialising in public sector performance improvement. She has a degree in Hispanic Studies.
As a long-term resident of Andalucia, she has first-hand experience of dealing with Spanish public health, administrative and education systems, giving her an insight into the challenges faced by UK nationals and enabling her and her teams to provide the best possible advice and support. Since 2016, the team in Malaga have held around 40 outreach events advising UK nationals on how to prepare for Brexit.
