Lorena Durán is one of the most successful Spanish models of the moment. Having been on the cover of Sport Illustrated, one of the most important magazines for the debut of many models, and having been one of the few Spaniards to have walked for Victoria’s Secret, her career continues unstoppable and she is called from all corners of the world to perform all kinds of ads and campaigns.
In this frenzy, and with a shaky schedule, Lorena Durán has made time in her calendar to star, along with the well-known British influencer Danny Williams, in one of the videos for the summer campaign of the hotel brand Amàre Hotels recommended for adults. In it, both protagonists show typical scenes of a romantic getaway by the sea, which we all dream of.
It was during this filming that the Sevillian woman told us that she loves to travel, and that thanks to her work she has traveled halfway around the world, becoming an expert in tourism and hotel establishments.
However, Lorena’s traveling vein comes from when she was little. “My parents were very adventurous and, apart from spending the summer in areas of Cádiz such as Zahara de los Atunes, Tarifa or Sanlúcar de Barrameda, they also took us to other more distant destinations such as the Caribbean”.
She confesses that she loves her job, and that since it is her top priority, she always plans her vacations at the last minute, when she knows that she is going to have a few days off. When that moment arrives, he affirms that “I am very much to share”, and he loves to spend a few days relaxing with his partner, or to go on a trip to a more cane destination with his friends, “because you always have to spend a little time with them”, he remarks. with a smile.
When the time comes, what she always looks for “are hotels facing the beach and the sea, as is the case of Amàre Marbella, which has surprised me so much for its proximity to the Mediterranean, and for having a very beautiful energy”.
There is another place that Lorena Durán loves about the hotels that she visits so much for her work: the spa. “Due to the stress that filming sometimes generates, whenever I can I stay in a hotel with a spa, and I take the opportunity to relax in its thermal circuit and to give myself a massage. At Amàre Marbella I have loved the treatments they offer by Germaine de Capuccini ”, she points out.
Before resuming the recording of the new Amàre Marbella spot, Lorena tells us another detail that she likes to find in the hotels she visits: “a good pillow menu. After many hours of filming what I need most is to rest and sleep well, and for that a good pillow is key”.
After those breaks, Lorena Durán acknowledges that she always tries to find a place to discover the destinations she visits. “I love going to its most touristic places, trying its gastronomy and feeling how the people live there. On this trip to Marbella, thanks to the excellent location of Amàre Marbella, I took the opportunity to meet a friend who lives here and we went for a walk along the beautiful promenade, where the hotel is located. And, since it is a 5-minute walk from the historic center, we have gone to explore it. It had been a long time since I visited it and I was surprised by how beautiful it is. I hope to return very soon.”
Ibiza can be lived the way you want:
Lorena Durán has already lent her image to promote another hotel from the same hotel chain, the Amàre Beach Hotel Ibiza, and before finishing the interview she reminds us of what she likes most about the Balearic island, and about this establishment.
“I really like its location facing the sea at Amàre Ibiza, as is the case with all Amàre hotels, and the designer pool on its rooftop. When I go to Ibiza I like to have a day of fun, but the rest of the time I prefer to spend it visiting its little beaches and escaping to Formentera. I always like to enjoy places where it is possible to taste good food and above all enjoy the peace of some of its beaches. People always talk about the Ibiza march, but the truth is that Ibiza can be lived the way you want”.
According to Manuel Redondo, marketing director of Fuerte Group Hotels, “we are very happy to have been able to count on the participation in this campaign of Lorena Durán, considered by many to be the Spanish model of the moment, and one of those with the greatest worldwide projection. thanks to his work for brands such as Yamamai, Intimissimi, Stradivarius or El Corte Inglés, among many others”. In addition, he concludes, “for a chain of Andalusian origin like ours, it is an honor that a Sevillian woman represents that cosmopolitan spirit and that elegant way of enjoying the holidays, which we wanted to convey with this summer campaign for Amàre Ibiza and Amàre Marbella”.
