The IDILIQ Foundation, originally established as La Fundación Sonrisa in 1999, proudly marks its 25th Anniversary, underscoring its unwavering commitment to social responsibility and community support. Founded by Roy Peires as the charitable arm of the IDILIQ Group, the Foundation has long been a beacon of generosity and aid on the Costa del Sol and Tenerife.
Dedicated to uplifting individuals and groups in need, the Foundation thrives on the generous contributions from partners, customers, and employees. Over the years, it has steadfastly responded to the pressing social needs of the community through sponsorships, financial donations, and consistent support for organizations, associations, and individuals.
In celebration of its 25th Anniversary, the IDILIQ Foundation will host a commemorative Gala on the 19th of September at the Mediterráneo Restaurant & Pool Terrace, located at the Wyndham Grand Costa del Sol. This prestigious event will gather associations from across the province, along with authorities, media, sponsors, collaborators, company representatives, as well as the Foundation’s ambassadors and volunteers.
“Over these 25 years, the IDILIQ Foundation has made significant strides in fulfilling its mission to enhance the quality of life for those most in need,” stated Juan Miguel Marcos, the Foundation’s president. “We maintain close collaborations with various groups through donations of food, furniture, clothing, computer equipment, and financial assistance. Notable beneficiaries include Los Ángeles Malagueños de la Noche, Cudeca, Casa Ronald McDonald, Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer, Afesol, and Fuensocial.”
A landmark achievement of the Foundation is the construction of the F. Cruz Dias-ADIMI Care Centre in Mijas. “ADIMI is a cornerstone of our efforts, reflecting both our dedication to the community and our organisational values. It stands as our largest donation and honours one of the co-founders of the IDILIQ Group,” emphasised Marcos.
The celebration of this Gala is a special occasion to acknowledge the continued support of all those present and to reaffirm the Foundation’s commitment to society in general.
